Marvellous and beautiful location by the river at the back, truly great facilities. Plus, 15 minutes drive from a protected forest. Quick check-in, late check-out. Very clean pool with a hot tub and a whirlpool.

Comfortable location - just a walk down to everywhere we needed. We dined at a pleasant nearby restaurant with homemade dishes.

The staff greeted me warmly with hot spiced apple cider and fresh cookies. My Beautiful King Room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable atmosphere. The indoor pool, sauna, and hot tub were inviting after a long day of sightseeing. Breakfast choices were above average, with hot options available instead of just cereal, but I found the limited menu a bit frustrating. Ordering breakfast felt awkward, calling up my room number didn't seem very secure. I missed having a microwave in my room for late-night snacks, especially since cooking isn't allowed. The location was pretty convenient, away from downtown noise but close to key attractions. It's charming and cozy, though it shows signs of age. With some updates and better breakfast management, this place could shine even brighter.

Absolutely amazing. Perfect lodge in the middle of a more than perfect scenery. The furniture was beautiful, you must see it to experience the true beauty of it all. The innkeeper was so pleasant and helpful. Has a lot of useful information about places to go and things to see. Such a delight. I cannot wait to return. This is a definite must see in both summer and winter seasons. Thank you for such a pleasant stay and a delicious breakfast.

Honestly no complaints. I had a satisfactory and outstanding breakfast with home made cakes. The room with a lovely selection of board games. The venue was in a very central location just off ski mountain as well as the skiing.

At northern lights lodge, the location was perfect for exploring beautiful walking and skiing areas. The beautiful queen room with two comfy beds felt just like home. The staff was really helpful and friendly, always ready to assist us. We loved having easy parking and how clean everything was. We especially enjoyed the cookies in the lobby!

So peaceful, so friendly and the cooked breakfast was excellent!
The hotel is currently being upgraded so the rooms are pretty basic but spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Staff were very pleasant and knowledgeable about the area. My daughter loved the indoor pool and choice at breakfast. We would stay there again.

The lodge has a beautiful setup and a very clean room with a cozy feel. Breakfast was delicious but could use more variety. A quirky downside was no microwave in the room, which was inconvenient for heating food.

We had a room overlooking the river with lots of room to sit and enjoy the scenery.
The hotel was disappointing and felt had been over-rated. The owners are trying to renovate it but whilst people are staying at the hotel. It needs shutting, re-furbishing and then opening again. The breakfast room is very dark with chairs piled up in the corner. Window boxes are empty with dead plants in. When we arrived, we weren't sure it was actually open. It's a lovely location and the staff are working hard but it just needs a lot or work doing on it and that is hard whilst it is obviously still very busy.
